The final research report from the project “Social dialogue and industrial relations in education: The challenges of multi-level governance and privatisation in Europe” will be launched on 31 March 2021, 9h30-12h30 (CET).
With its specific focus on social dialogue and industrial relations between employers and education trade unions in French-speaking Belgium, Italy, Poland and Sweden, within the framework of European Union multi-level governance, this one-year project (April 2020 – March 2021) has constituted a major extension of the TeachersCareers project. Xavier Dumay and Tore Bernt Sorensen from the TeachersCareers project team have been part of the consortium which were awarded this research grant by the European Commission.
The research launch will take place at the on-line conference “Education in Europe: From Resistance to Recovery. Public Investment, Privatisation, Reforms and the role of Industrial Relations”. Convened by the project coordinator European Trade Union Committee for Education (ETUCE), the conference includes presentations from the project partners UC Louvain, Napoli Federico II, the University of Warszawa.
Here is the final programme in English and French and the link to register for the conference. The conference will be held on the Zoom platform, and registration is free. Interpretation will be available in EN, FR, ES, DE and RU.
